Howard Hughes Corp. announced the opening of Creekside Park The Grove, a 360-unit Craftsman-style apartment complex in the Village of Creekside Park in The Woodlands.
The property, at 8440 Creekside Green Drive, is the company’s second multifamily development in the community, a collection of shops, restaurants and services along Kuykendahl Road. It consists of six four-story buildings with units ranging from 680 to 1,490 square feet and joins the 292-unit Creekside Park The Residences.
“After much anticipation, we are excited to officially launch the opening of Creekside Park The Grove, our newest multifamily community in The Woodlands,” Crystal Bledsoe, national multifamily asset manager for Howard Hughes said in an announcement. “We welcome our newest residents to a stylish and modern living community that offers the latest in technology and health and wellness amenities.”
Completion of the project comes as demand for apartments in the Houston region is strong. Average rents in the Houston area rose by 7.7 percent over the year in July, according to ApartmentData.com. The average occupancy rate for local apartments reached 91.3 percent in July.
Located near jogging paths and recreation at Lake Paloma, Creekside Park The Grove features touchless entry doors in the clubhouse and fitness areas and ionization devices in the heating and cooling system in common areas to purify the air.
The community incorporates multiple coworking areas, a resort-style swimming pool with a cabana, grilling areas, a dog park and an outdoor pool table and game area. The clubhouse has a coffee bar and lounge and fitness center with a room for yoga, spin and barre activities. Ground-level apartments have private yards.
In Cypress, Hughes is developing the 358-unit Starling at Bridgeland. Opening is planned in summer 2022.
