Slate Heights, a luxury apartment project coming to 26th Street and Durham Street, is among this week’s demolition permit buyers.
The site 720 W. 26th St., Houston, received a demolition permit on May 15. The lot was owned and occupied by Shady Acres Church of Christ, but county records show Slate Real Estate Partners received deeds on April 2 along with those to several adjacent lots. The church relocated in mid-April to 610 Rankin Circle North in anticipation of a new building.
For 2019, the property at 720 W. 26th was valued at $2.8 million, according to the Harris County Appraisal District.
Slate Heights is a proposed luxury multifamily community of 287 units, according to ApartmentData.com.
