Our very own Rudy Mui has been named a Most Admired CEO honoree by The Houston Business Journal.
Mui joined ApartmentData.com in 2014 and as CEO expanded the Houston-based company to 12 cities across the southern United States that earned the company a coveted spot in the INC 5000 in 2017 list by doubling its customer base.
Rudy and 58 other outstanding leaders from Houston’s business and non-profit sectors made the prestigious list and will be recognized in a special section of HBJ’s Aug. 23 weekly edition and at a luncheon on Aug. 22. Rudy joins the second class ever of HBJ’s most honored CEOs.
A panel of judges looked for characteristics such as contribution to company success, civic involvement, career achievement and more. The Most Admired CEOs are broken up by for-profit and nonprofit categories. The honorees represent several of Houston’s prominent industries, with CEOs from major health care systems, development and construction-related firms, financial institutions, energy-related companies and much more — including a professional sports team.
“Rudy is caring and inspires hard work by example,” said company president, Bruce McClenny. “He possesses an enthusiasm and energy that are rare and contagious. Our company has achieved so much under his tenure and I am so grateful for his leadership and friendship. Rudy is so admired by our employees and deserves this honor of Most Admired CEO.”
The judges selected 42 for-profit leaders and 17 nonprofit leaders for this year’s award.
